    Rpm's

    What changes the rpm's in the ski's, and what rpm's or stock ski's turning?

    Rxp and Rxt rev limit is 8150rpms anything sc ic 215hp.
    Gtx sc 185hp=7650rpms( non intercooler motor)

    Rpms tend to drop in higher temps and be at there best at lower temps thats about all that i knoe on that one.

    The temp can and will have an effect on your rpm's but the pitch of the prop is what controls them for the most part. You can fine tune the prop by bending it to get the motor into the rpm range you want. On a stock ski that is right around 8200 and if you have an ECU is 8550.

    With an '05 rxt I was at 8000-8100 on glass in cool weather.
