Ya and I’d like to know how to change lead to gold, let just say even after all the mathematical number crunching many time it’s still R&D -port a cylinder, try again
BUT if you know your math- you end up dealing with stuff like time mean area, bmep (brake means horse power
And after you start to finger that out, now how do I machine windows on cylinder to my #
Anyways company called tsr has software that can crunch numbers for port timing and more
There’s some old time books out there two-stroke tuners handbook, by Gordon Jennings (old stuff but still good)
And if nothing else just hang around here, lots of info goes by everyday

on screamandfly.com for awhile there was a guy who had a sleeve ported out he would ship you. You slide it into your bore... line it up mark your cylinder with a sharpie and go to work. I think he charged 100.00 for sleeve rental fee....You could take your 200 2.5 to 300 hp porting specs for cheap Just dont let grinding tool slip and gouge your cylinder...... yes, i speak from experience DOH!!
I wonder if any of the GPR porting gurus would consider doing this for those of us who like to tinker?

I had a famous portsmith in the jetski industry tell me that my porting looked like a 5 year old using a drill to port.
