    XS intercooler

Is this the XS intercooler that is used in the RXP from Siliconeintakes.com
    Water to Air Intercooler - 12"x12.25"x4.5" - S/S I/O (Type 3)
    [INT000203]

Do you need to order the model with Input and output hoses on one end?

No....I like the hoses on the front and back...more room to work with it, Water in the back, out the front.

That's what I used. Also, it doesn't matter which way the water flows, as long as it flows.
Insandiego joe uses that one too.

    149.99 for that IC right?

I put the anode on the 'out' front side. It really does not matter where you put the anode, my friend put in the rear out of sight.

Yes, they are $149.00. The model with both the water ports on the front is out of stock now from siliconeintakes. I was thinking the model with 2 ports in the front was the one to use only because of the photos I've seen of the riva cooler which has them both in front.

If I had the chance to get the one with both holes in front I would. It's much easier & less chance of kinkage.

    Look at the physical dimmensions...

The style#3, the one that is $149, is larger than the Riva...They share the same size core as the Riva's...

The one that is out of stock, style #5, is BIGGER than #3...Its TOO BIG, the core is the size of #3 by itself.....That unit is used for autos that are running 20-30+psi turbo setups...

I just called siliconeintakes and they didn't know what I was talking about when I mentioned the XS intercooler they said thier intercooler is thier own brand without any name on it....
They did mention that they are also taking on another brand of intercoolers which may have other configuration options but had no information as of yet.

They are all made in China for various companies...same hardware...
Silcone Intakes, XS, both good cheap intercoolers...if they start to leak just replace. Much better solution than Riva...
