    Hi guys need some HELP

    Hey guys I have been having some trouble with removing the 5200 from my pump shoe. The boat has a small crack on the pump tunnel and I want to fix it but when I removed the shoe the 5200 is not comming off that easy. any suggestions I already tried razor blades and have the cuts to prove it .

    I like a wire wheel on a drill. It blasts through it...be carfull not to damage hull just clean it up.

    I scraped as much as I could with a putty knife and razor blade then finished with a small hand wire brush "tooth brush" type. just did this the other day. I then sanded a bit prior to re-sealing the shoe

    Be careful when using a wire wheel! It will go through the SMC in a second!

    Not at all, depends how hard the wire is, how much pressure you apply and what rpm's you use. Mine wasnt even scratched.
