    Quick question!

When i was riding a couple days ago with my Mods in sig...if I would ride superman and I took off from an idle to WOT, water was damn near flat...I would shoot out and then my ski would come unhooked then I would get hooked and then it would jump and get unhooked again and then it would hook up and I would be off like a lightning bolt....just wondering the cause of this and how to fix it....thanks!

Sounds like you had the VTS set too high.

Hey AJ!, Mine will do the same, (last season) if I hammered it from a stop, the ski would stand right up and suck air, making it come down hard, so take off gradually, get going and then put it down, you will see that this would be much better, when we had our RXDI, you could adjust trim all the way down for WOT starts, but the GTX`s don`t have trim to avoid this...

Trim down and push down on the bars. Once the porpoising stops creep further back on the seat.

Pro series block off's help alot with porpoising at high speed.

Does the GTX use the plastic bushing on the steering nozzle ? I know that can help keep the nose down on take off.

So is there any way to make my ski not do this?? I mean it kind of defeats teh purpose of a holeshot....maybe I should take the 2* wedge off??

    Totally,

Leave the wedge on and flip the lower sterring nozzle bushing 180 degrees. Kinchyle and I experimented with this a great deal last year and it works. the air filter is what gave you the extra "umph" when you hit the throttle. If flipping the bushing doesn't eliminate it entirely, you'll have to lean out over the ski for two counts, then slide back and scream
