    Who Makes Aftermarket 951DI Pistons?

Are there any good aftermarket pistons for a 951DI motor, reasonably priced?
DI pistons are different from carb pistons, right?

Yes, they are different. The crown on a DI piston is much thicker to dissapate the higher combustion heat better.

I currently don't know of any aftermarket. Are you past once-over OEM diameter or just looking for a cheaper piston?

SBT makes them, but I would not use them. If you do, make sure to cut the circlip grooves so the clips might have a chance of staying where they belong. IMO use the rotax stuff.
