    I really like that strainer you have in there. Where would I find one of those bad boys?


    You might want to wrap that bilge hose in something where you have it zip tied to the hull. Over time, that might chaffe through........ I had to wrap my bailer gear clamps, as they were rubbing on the adjacent hoses........

    I like the set up.......

    GeoRXT, yes its 3/4" hose

    What did you do for a switch? and where did you get the power to run the pump from?

    I was looking at a bilge pump today at Academy. I wasn't sure on if there was room for a float switch though so I didn't get anything.

    What is the clear looking thing with the metal filter on it in the last picture?

    I'm going to use a rocker switch mounted to the steering column. I'm going to have it power automatically by the lanyard. Then the lighted rocker switch will turn it constant on(lighted) and automatic.
