    spot the diffrence

    got my cankworks crank ready to drop in and noticed it only has two bearing pegs in the inner bearings, but the stock has six.
    anyone have an idea whats going on and if its ok to fit,will try and ring crankworks later

    Got to love those o-rings. Give your motor builder a call before you install. He has some recommendations also.

    I have a crank with grooves instead of pins and mine had o-rings in the grooves. These compress and keep the bearing from spinning and also help with crank chatter in the journals. Lowell also recommends a loctite type product to use on the bearing journals to help with chatter. I will post the name tonight I do not have it with me now.

    bill your spot on crankworks have screwed up and did not put the o rings on when they sent the crank out,i now need buna 70 seals for it to be able to fit looks like my build stops here for now....damn there is always something

    Its the green loctite.

    I just got mine done by crank works, and it looks EXACTLY like that!

    the O-rings are their they are just not very thick

    when I install my rebuilt crank, should I put anyl ock, or lub on the o-ring area?

    How the hell do you install them properly with the crank back in one peice???
