Welcome to the forum!
Do you live near mcrowley?
I am in Guilderland
About the RXT
Is it going to only be you riding or no?
If you are going to have passengers most of the time but you still want mods go with the RXT, on the other hand you will never go as fast with a RXT than you can with an RXP
The Rxp is for someone who knows it will probably only be them and they want speed and want to mod the shit out of it
Its up to you, either way they are both great machines

where you ride
good points, and alson where you ride, in chop or flatter water. the rxt makes a big diff in the chop. From what i herd an rxt will beat an rxp in the chop. Depends on your water, if you mod, people that are with you. If you wait till 08 you can get the best of both worlds with the RXT-X. Im praying i can get it

RXT!!! For 2 or more people...and stability....not as fast but lot's of fun!!

Agreed, jtviggen—they're both great machines, the RXP can be modded up to hit 80, 85, even 90 plus mph, great handling and speed even in stock form...
For overall combination of towing tubes, stability for two riders, accelleration, ride in the chop or flat, strong hull, decent fuel economy and serious top end... RXT RULES. I think it is the overall best combo performance machine on the water. For now, anyway...
If you buy used, get the extended warranty to CYA, a machine under one year old will still have original warranty which you can extend thru BRP just before the anniversary date. Drop in some metal clutch washers and you're good to go. Try and test drive them both if you can—enjoy the fun!

It all depends on how you drive, what you like to do, who and how many people you carry. You can still have a great time on an RXT but RXPs are for the people who want speed, air, possibly a lot of mods, and finally an early death wish
it all depends on what YOU want though...i hope you find what you want
