Welcome to the Green Hulk Forums!!!

There is not alot that you can do to the DI engines. There are a few hull mods that can some small gains such as wedge and sponson mods.

    Compression boost, perhaps?
What octane do these motors normally require?

Good ski whilst going Tps issues galore .every say 40 hrs +.I have found a divorced system you can use if you want and that will sort the tps issues
Not much you can do about more power .You can fool the system to thing it needs to be richer but it will be expensive when you don't get it right .
Ride it and save your dollars to buy something quicker if you need .Txi is a good ski power to weight .

    Cheers

Keith ,Stops the vibrations killing the Tps ,takes the vibration away from the TPS internals .Thes are what makes the tps operate erattically. The 1200 doesn't have the issues as bad as the 800 .Will cost about $100 to buy and then install yourself

    Cheers

    Could you provide the details?
Does this fix relocate the TPS off the engine?

When the 800 first came out I was getting anywhere from 5 hrs to 20hrs out of the tps .If I put the tps on the 1200 (off the 800)it would still function ok , unless it was stuck at idle (ie major).I have a box of these .For 3 yrs Polaris was supplying these to me .I always got more hrs from the TXI than the 800 I .When you hook up the Wrench you can see the effect the vibration of the engine has on the signal it puts out .The Vibration from the 2 cyl is a higher frequency than the 3 cyl so I have gone with that theory .I have seen on the net a transmission controller that uses an externally mounted TPS .They sell the kit for around $100 .I would be inclined to purchase one from them and externally mount it away from the engine .Use the spare cable holder on the throttle bodies and go from there .That will fix the TPS issues for good

    Cheers

I have a box of these. For 3 yrs Polaris was supplying these to me. I always got more hrs from the TXI than the 800 I.

When you hook up the Wrench you can see the effect the vibration of the engine has on the signal it puts out .The Vibration from the 2 cyl is a higher frequency than the 3 cyl so I have gone with that theory.

    Interesting.
Could you point me at the web site for this transmission controller?
