Have you removed the spark plugs and then cranked the engine to remove the water from the top of the pistons?

Your intake manifold will also have water in it.

I would not run that motor w/o pulling the head to see if a rod is bent, I would question the gasket anyway. What u have now is fixable, ride it and throw a rod and your done....ask me how I know......btw, sbt sucks donkey marbles. Options are, fix yourself, send engine to Nils, stickem, JD1, Shibby, 9sec, or u can go to the dealer (but get a loan 1st). They way to tell w/ head off is to make sure all 3 pistons go ALL the way to tdc, and they must not be rotated in any way from the others. I am sure the people I mentioned have the parts and brains to get u going, so find out who is closest.

Remove your intake manifold and dump any water out of it.

    Reinstall it.

Remove all plugs and crank engine until no more water comes out.

Do a compression test. A low reading on one cylinder could mean a bent rod and/or blown head gasket.

If all cylinders read close to the same reinstall plugs and fire it up.

If you are unfortunate enough to have a low reading on one of the cylinders yank the head off
