Would the ultimate Ski in terms of speed be a Stage 3 RXP?? Or would there be some older ski that could be faster

Well i guess that depends on how much money and time you want to spend..The GPRXP is a mid 80 mph ski right out of the box....JD1 has a 94 mph RXP that is cost mucho bucks to build..

No way. Maybe in your local area, but across the board....not a chance.

It seems that the Yamis that are built by Mr. Hibbon are the kings. For out of the box stuff and generic fun the RXP's are right there. But the most fun I've ever had on a ski was and is my XP. It's hard to explain. So hard that I bought another one fully loaded superstock and am thinking of selling my RXP and 951'ing an X4 hull.

I think the ultimate ski would be a 400hp Les Cooke Turbo setup in an Zapata hull.

Agreed. I was reading somewhere that Franky says that setup is capable of 100mph or more??? If so....

Not to throw a monkey wrench, but which side of "Ultimate Ski"?

100mph insane ski that runs on the edge...or...80+ ski that is reliable to do 30-40 hours a summer with normal maintenance...

My Ultimate Ski would be a turbo'd RXP or RXT with "mild" boost (shy of 20psi) on a perfect day, all the reliable items installed...Simple change the oil atleast twice a season, and ride it...
