Aubrey is going that weekend too. (Akent)

Not sure what everyone is planning on but there is a place to drag race right at the bridge, only 1/4 mile or so from ramp.

I will be riding to the fishcamp and doing the normal run and everybody is welcome to follow. The only "beach" to hang out at is the tree swing and is 20 miles from the ramp.

Like Chewster said, show up with a full tank and an extra 10 gallons for refilling at the halfway point. We head north of the ramp first and then stop back by on the way to the fish camp for refueling. Bring ropes (Especially SDs ), dry bag, cell phones, water shoes, etc..

I can only safely spot for 4 or 5 skis at a time so groups will have to be made. Should be about 6 or so veterans going.

If you have some sort of non charging system or no BOV your not going to make it. This is 80+ miles of on and off the gas. Watch Chewster's videos and you will understand.

Also everyone coming needs to have all the CoastGaurd required items. Thanks to Richard (Way2Fast) the FWC was out there yesterday taking pictures and staring at us with binoculars. Haven't seen theat happen before.

I am sure he has turned them on to this the event so we will have to behave, at least until out of sight.

Sorry to be such a noob... but what is a non-charging system? Can a stock ski make that trip?

Absolutely!! A non charging system is for performance only and doesn't charge the battery as your riding. Trip is to long for one of those systems IMO.

Cool... couple more questions for you...

    1) How long does the whole trip take?
    2) What are all the Coast Guard required items?
    3) How do you carry an extra 10gal of gas?

    Thanks

    Your opinion is WRONG!!! J/K

My GPR (with a lightened non charging flywheel)ran the whole weekend at the TX Round-Up and all weekend at MB without a charge. Now, if I was running MSD or something else that was drawing any extra amperage, that probably wouldnt be the case.

EDIT: Sorry for hijacking and being off topic.

    1. Basically the whole day. Don't usaully get back to the ramp until 5 or 6.
    2. whistle, fire ext., approved jacket, registration.
    3. Gas stays at the ramp in your truck. We head north for a ride first and fill up on the way back south towards the Fish camp.

I'm sure with a good battery you would be fine, just wouldn't reccomend it. But thanks for keeping me straight Tonto!
