I installed mine in the right mirror location. Took the mirror out and and bored out a hole just big enough for the gauge. Looks great!! On my 06 I was able to wire it in with the gauge cluster. There is a + and - that is sufficient in the gauge area.

How do the gauges get the reading ? Ive seen the IC blockoff plate sold in Jerry's online store has a fitting for the gauge. How do the electric ones work ?

The blockoff plate has a threaded hole that will allow you to screw in a 1/8 NPT fitting. The boost gauge will have wires leading to a sensor. The sensor will have a small hose that you will fit over the NPT. As boost air pressure enters the hose to the sensor, the sensor converts the pressure to an electrical signal that the gauge can then display as the boost pressure. IMO, don't waste your money on an analog gauge.
