    lost my clutch today

It was my own fault though. When i built it i put an extra shim in it making my clutch slipping moment too high. It was just more than the cluch could handle. I was able to retrieve most of the pieces in the screen on the front oil scavenger pump.

After an oil change and about an hour use i'll drain the oil and check the screen again.

Those pieces get small quick...but that screen looks micro enough to retrieve anything worthwhile.

yea, the screen did a great job of catching the debris. I think i'll do a couple of oil changes and clean the screen just to be sure.

it's on the front of the engine. its the cover for the oil scavenger pump. It's below the oil filler neck way down at the bottom. It's not hard to get to though. There are 5 E8 size bolts holding it on.

First time poster but been reading all the great info on here for the last month. Jerry you need to look at your oil pumps like two2curupt said, speaking from experince. I had a sc come apart on me last year. I belive the screens are after the pump. I know mine got chewed up pretty bad. It would be nice to have a oil presure gauge on these machines like you would on any car that is pushing this kind of HP per cubic inch. Anyway thanks for the great site I would not know half of what I do about these things without places like this.
