Removing Stock Exhaust baffle from RXP

Is there a trick to removing the baffle without removing the VTS? I have the SC and water box w/J pipe out but it won't quite make it past the VTS. Will it come out if I take the front cover off the VTS or do I just have to remove the VTS?
    Thanks for the help.

The way i take them out is to get a sawzall with a long blade and cut the part of the resonator off that the hoses connect to. It's the part that looks like a pipe. Once you cut that off it will come right out. Otherwise you must remove the VTS motor.

Be sure and vacuum up the plastic shavings if you use my method

You can also pop the 4 bolts holding the TB on, and drop it down...then it will slide right out...

Thanks, I will get it out one way or the other tonight. I knew there must have been a better way.

You can also pull the pump and get an adjustable wrench on the VTS nut, pull the VTS out and it will work...

I did the Vts method on my Friends RXP then the Throttle body method on mine and i have to say that the TB method is waaaaaaaaaaaay easier. Easily half the amount of time.
