    98 seadoo xp limited

I was wondering if anyone knew why my beeper is going off constantly. I looked in the manual, and it says it is a bad connection in the safety lanyard. I have cleaned it a few times already, and still beeps...besides disconnecting the beeper any one have any suggestions.

    Thanx Ed

I was asking this because if the tank sensor is disconnected, and your light is on, it will beep constantly like you describe. It will do the same if the fuel gauge is showing empty, which is why the previous question was asked. Oil flow and smoke has nothing to do with the float sensor in the tank.

It is either of these two problems, or your MPEM is bad.

It could also be your temp sensor. If i remember correct I believe if you just disconnect it, it should read normal, and then potentially not beep ifthats your problem
