Anyone use Aftermarket wear ring on 4-tec

I hate how the new OEM wear rings don't come out with the "freezer method", there are a couple wear rings for sale on ebay that aren't made by Sea doo. Anybody ever used one before........are they garbage?

I've used these before with satisfactory results. Though they do have a slightly different finish to them and appear to have a lesser quality than OEM, I did find they installed the same as the 105s and lasted about as long.

I'd use them again... especially to avoid the extra effort of changing the new OEM rings.

Jeff, My SC is back & yours is going back home! Thank you!
I put 6 hrs on the SS washers so you can log that for future reference. I checked the slip on it & it's at 78in lbs.

I would go stainless but I want to make sure my engine is alligned perfect.....my local Sea Doo dealership doesn't have an allignment tool for the 4- strokes.......don't ask me why......I have a Pirahna front mount ....just not positive I'm 100% strait (well I know i'm strait I meant my ski)

I've been running the same wear ring all summer...I just freeze it, pull it out...then mix up some plastic epoxy, skim coat the inside SMOOTH...freeze it again, toss it in....mount, start, FIXED!

I change/flip mine every 20 hours or sooner depending on cavitation....with your GTI you can probably go longer

JB weld in the missing chunks & gouges will work too.
