My VTS flooded
While installing my rear exhaust I discovered my VTS had water in it. I have had problems with it on and off since new, usually i reinstall the lanyard and it starts working again. The motor still works but it had alot of corrosion on it, I wire brushed and cleaned everything so I think I am ok. The water had to come from the boot on the outside because the hull has never had that much water in it.
The boot had plastic compression clamps in it and they seemed loose any body had this problem? Replace them with regular hose clamps?
The stock exhaust nut came off by hand, I guess the person at Seadoo just didn't want to tighten any thing up that day at the factory.
