    aftermarket ecu w/ stock valvetrain??

    What aftermarket ecu can you run with the stock valvetrain?? Has anybody ran a Riva with stock valvetrain?? thanks

    of course you can but it's really not safe. your chances of floating of valve would be pretty good.

    Yea, some guys have run the riva race ecu and no valvetrain upgrade.......and they got the bent valves to prove it.

    You must at least shim the valves. But a lightweight retainer could be helpful.

    Yes!

    The best/safest valvetrain upgrade is the Riva valvetrain upgrade. It comes with new springs, titanium retainers and shims that go under the springs. Its all easily installed with the head in place using the Riva valvetrain upgrade tool.
