IC + Bkit + new RRECU + Rude fuel controller + injectors...

    + air intake...

Can I safely ride in heavy chop on the stock top end if I stayed at or below 8400 rpms?

Yes, It would be best if you had shims under the valve springs

u prob lookin at a rebuild every season on those stock pistons with that setup... I'd put JE pistons or an equivalent in there for that setup before you wind up needing a more serious rebuild in the middle of the season and suffer downtime

i won't call names out someone didn't make it very far with an even milder setup than what you mentioned. Ski is now down for a rebuild with a whole new top end most likely at least

    Good question!

I've contemplated the merits of a similar set-up with an RR SC impeller instead of the B-kit... oh yeah, and no fuel controller.

I've almost decided to send out my j-pipe and have a bung installed for an A/F gauge so I can monitor the parameters myself... cause I know I'll keep changing stuff!

me too Jeff... that A/F setup might be a MUST very shortly 13psi is ALOT on a stock motor, especially 20 dollar stock pistons that sell for 160 big difference from running a whopping 9.6 psi

I'm gonna do 42 lb injectors and the RR SC impeller and RR ECU and most likely invest in the A/F setup to keep an eye

That's exactly what I'm doing! I have the injectors and ECU... just waiting on the SC impeller... and for the frickin' delta to open

Yes , I have all of the above too +you should look into the lightweight retainers+,lightened RRcam gear+ valve spring shims. I can run 8500 no problems so far.

I'm sending mine in for the A/F during my next down time. Probably when the metal washers come in.
I'm shooting for the new SC/injectors/stock ECU. I'm going to watch Shibbs and Jeff first and see how it goes with Jerry's testing on Careys ski.

So If I'm going to do that I might as well go all the way and get the engine bulletproofed?
