I tested the turbo kit today

In anticipation of making big power i added 5mm to the trailing edge of my 15/19R starting at 3" up the blade and working back. I also added 1 mm pitch to the leading edge.

For the first run i had the boost controller turned all the way down. Boost was at 10 PSI and RPM's at 8250. I then backed out on the boost controller 2 turns and boost came up to 11-12 and RPM's 8450. I opened the controller up 2 more turns and the ski really came to life
At half throttle i was all over the rev limiter at 14 PSI and running 80 mph.

I went home and added 2 more MM to the leading edge and dropped a 79 mm nozzle on it. Went back out and im now able to hold it 3/4 throttle, 13.7 to 14 psi of boost and running 82+ mph sitting straight up on the seat

Here's the good news, im running it straight off the Riva ECU with 50 pound injectors, no fuel controller and AFR is 11.6- 11.9

This is pretty much the limit though. If i want to run more boost im going to have to go with the 62 lb injectors and a fuel controller or use a rising rate fuel pressure regulator.

I just added 2 more mm pitch to the leading edge and will go back out tomorrow and see if i can hold it WOT.

I have a 15.5/22.5 impeller on the way which should bring on even better speed numbers.

Im shocked at how hard the ski pulls even at 14 PSI of boost. I can't wait to feel it at 18-20 pounds

Jerry--great job---looks like ALOT left. As far as rating it on one to ten--I would rate it EXPENSIVE --but well worth it. May the 4-tec force be with you.

Sounds very nice there Jerry. So is this mod going to also go on your conversion when you get this ski balanced out?
