    07 gtx ltd question

I have a customer that wants to install an rr ecu and I think that it will stop all the bells and whistles from working like the depth finder knowing that the ski has no MPEM. Has anybody done this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks JOJO

Although they tend to be expensive, they are Phenomenal! Good for many other things...especially rims even though sometimes they break apart after intensive scrubbing...

Yes, but you have an MPEM that handles all the extra bells and whistles. The 07 skis no longer have an MPEM and the ECU carries out all of the functions.

JoJo brings up a good question though and i don't have the answer. If i had to guess, Rotax Racing didn't integrate all the "extra" functions of the LTD models into their Racing ECU. I could be wrong though.

The RIVA ECU would be the way to go though as you would have the option of turning on all those extra functions when activating the ECU. The downside is the customer would lose his warranty.

the accessories and wiring and fuses all still go thro the MPEM / fuse block for 07s...

BUT.. it wont work bc that electrical circuit is activated by the ECU. you aren't reading or activating or tinkering with the MPEM in BUDS. all VTS, bilge pump, depth gauge activations are initiated in the ECU that lets those pins become active

I'm not worried about the warranty for myself. It will be long one by the time I can afford mods. Good to know about the RIVA
