Will A Solas Concord 15/23 Work Well With 85/88 Nozzles?
have a stock 96 xp, with a solas concord 15/23 impeller. Will this work well with the 85/88 nozzles? I know these nozzles work best with a solas xo, but I can't afford a new prop. Is a 15/23 concord a good setup with the 85/88 nozzles? Thanks. I suppose I could trade or sell my 15/23 for an xo. It is a brand new prop. Let me know, and if anyone here has these nozzles for cheap let me know. I don't care about the condition of the nozzles. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks, Charlie

Ok I have been watching your post for a week or so and gonna give my thoughts.. I have a just awesome 96xp.
First level is if you don't want to spend the $$$ for a Factory pipe, but is good for when you get it anyway.
Head Mod 175p.s.i. 55 thousands squish.
Re-jet carbs 75pilots 145 mains low screw at 1 1/8th, high screw at about 1/2 turn out.
Choke plates removed, and add a primer.
Solas XO prop running through 85-88 nozzles.
Then find a factory pipe Spec II and re-jet carbs to 155 mains
This should keep ya busy for awhile.
My 96xp runs 64+ all the time...

Charlie, these questions would get a better responce at Pete's site. It's a collection of the best X4 tuners arround. http://snkypete.com/forum/
The XO is probably the best prop but that means they are hard to find and not cheap.
My advice is to ride the snot out of it. Get comfortable with the ski as is. After a bit bring it over here and I'll bring a spare pump to the water and you can swap props till you find the hot setup.

I tried for atleast an hour to get registered on that site. I did everything it asked for and I couldn't become a memeber. It wouldn't let me acsess certain pages and I couldn't even join up. Oh well, I'll keep these kind of questions on .net. Sometimes I forget the name of this site!lol I'm sorry about that. I just got so comfortable on this site, and .net. Thankyou, I'll keep trying! I have a SOLAS XO prop in a Mint pump. No time to pull the prop as I am busy with the two little kids I have and a ton of Overtime my way to pay bills.
If you are interested in a mint XO in a awesome shape pump, shoot me a good offer and it could be yours. I just don't have much time to pull it apart to just send the prop. But would be willing to toss the whole pump prop in a box to ship to ya. So let me know.

Charlie, are you trying to register under the same nick at Pete's site?
If so let me know. I'll PM the moderators to go ahead and allow you access.
And...as far as prop selection...it will do ok. I've alsways disliked Concords...they spin out of the hole and this is where the race is won or lost.

Nope I got on that site. I just tried a different e-amil of mine and it worked. It wouldn't let me use my yahoo account, so I just put my school e-mail. Thanks. Austin, shoot me an e-mail at email@example.com
