    Fuel consumption rxp-x???

Im looking at an rxp-x as a possible purchase. Im wondering if im the only one who has thought/ worried about this.... How much fuel is this ski gonna burn/how long on one tank, of course ride style matters but an average ... i know the rxp 215 burned quite a bit . just curious too see guess well find out if it bothers anyone next spring.???? nice ski from the looks but that would suck if you had to fuel up all the time

Since the mechanical(explosive) potential of air fuel mixture is constant, it will take more fuel to make more HP. There are only 3 ways to make more HP, more RPMs, more displacement, or more boost. All three mean that at full potential the engine uses more fuel that a lower HP engine.

Well if your worried about the gas, get a 99 GS and dont buy a RXP-X. Its like saying well I want a viper but I need good gas mileage too! lol
Its not difficult to figure out though, its the same motor with something like a stage 2 kit, so not gonna see much difference there captain! Good luck

    10-15% more than a 215hp SCIC machine.

No if you really want to save gas, you get a '96 or prior GTS, nothing sipps fuel on the water like a 580 single carb.

A RXP/T-X can get very good gas mileage, and so can a Dodge Viper or any kind of gas sucker, it's called Don't start the engine

An rxp and an rxpX going the same speed will get the same distance on the same amount of fuel.

And if you want to feel better about the rxp-X, Ride with an Ultra 250 You"ll beat him to the next fuel stop and have (enough time) to go back 10 miles to take him GAS.
