I would rather it be later since unless you beat the shit out of these new washers you should really never have to replace them... I know Les and them suggest every 100 hours but thats pretty much beating the living crap out of them...if you ride normal I am sure those washers will outlast your ski....Hopefully!

O yeah...they all snap on?? I take back what I said about craftsmen....Atleast there powertools, more specifically there cordless power drills....I stripped the inside gear from torquing shit to tight....But I can take my 6 year old dewalt and torque em down twice as far....

To change the clutch washers all you need is the shaft holding tool (retaining key) and the service mounting plate.

The nut on the end will be torqued to 22 ft lbs and apply red loc tite to the threads.

Be careful where you pull the gear off (i do it over a pan) as 40 needle bearings fall out. When you go to put them back under the gear lots of petroleum jelly works wonders.

Man I just don't need a high dollar torq wrench and asked Jerry if he would do it.
Ofcoarse he will be taken care of, but for the little to no use a torq wrench would get at my house. It just isn't worth it.

Oh and Jerry knows it better than me....
