    Stainless header

    Check out this thread ....

Now I know this is not RXP-specific, and it would likely require an adaptor plate and some cutting and rewelding, then weld on a SS 'cover' over the header and water cool it ... but look at the price!! Jeepers ... it just seems like something like this would possibly be a cheap starting point to experiment with fabbing up a SS water-jacketed header, especially if you want to go turbo, or do your own custom exhaust, etc. Just saw this ad and wondered ...

Exactly ... the stuff coming out of China is shockingly cheap. If I had any SS welding/fabrication skills, this is so cheap I would buy a set just to mock up and mess with ... and for a turbo setup?? Even more possibilities I think ... the shape on these seems like they might possibly work with some 'tweaking' and would be sooooo much cheaper to start with ...

It's incredible when you think about it. They have the cost of materials and labor to make them. Then they have to ship them all the way over here and sell them at a wholesale price so the distributor can make his profit. Makes you wonder what their actual cost to make them is. Amazing!

Chooks headers, a (insert name here) exclusive, get 'em now for 1995.00, cats extra , heck, we could plumb the buildings a/c vents to the air intake on the dyno and and have a good dyno chart for the buyers to feel good about the new header war entry
