Danny told me that any good muffler shop should be able to do them but its not an all at once process so i just sent mine to him to be done. He said that you have to flare the metal in stages and cant do it all at once like it has to be flared in increments.

Thats correct. if they use typical sizing tools, as it expands the fingers create a gap...if they go to far too fast, the metal in the gap stratches...so when you adjust to pop that area out, you have excess metal...

if you have a local shop do it, then they must go in 1/16th or less increments until they get to 2.25 total ID....no more than 1.75" up from the bottom of a stock JPipe......Don't trim the JPipe, it doesn't flow as nice...

If you are unsure about it, contact me and we can do it for you. We also flow your pipe at the same time, get it flowing as low as we can...I have seen a slight variance in pipes, maybe 5%, because of the booger'd welds that are on the inside...

Kyle, how you like that weld job on the bung?

I will check with the performance shop I found. I can get anything there, except a block of rubber. Somewhat expensive but great in a pinch.
