I am finaly in the 70mph Club
Well today is the first time I have broke 70mph
It took some time playing around with mods that I have trying some out and removing some to find the right set up
And last week I put a custom straight pipe exhaust system on that sounds great and noticed much more pull on hole shots and mid range punch but when I tested my ski with the new exhaust system on it last weekend it was very very windy and I could not get up to a good speed to see what the new exhaust gave me on the top end speed.....
Well today the wind was down to about 1mph or less and the water was flat as glass air temp was about 49 and the water temp was about 49 also
I rode a tank out and got down near the low fuel beeper and then got in the "superman" poss and gave it a long straight run and hit 70.1 and gave it another long run and hit my new max speed of 70.3 my last max speed b4 my straight pipe was 69.8 so there was about a 0.5mph gain
Pretty happy with that all summer long I bought mods and messed around with them to find the right set up and now its Nov and starting to get cold out I finaly broke 70mph
A BIG THANK YOU to all those the helped me out though the summer giving me tips on what mods I had that would scrub speed and stuff like that that all finaly paid off

The cold air and cold water were probably good for your better numbers compared to the summer heat and humidity. Nice job.

I have a neoprene wet suit head to toe so that keeps me pretty warm !
