    Talking Triple pipe Raider update

Just got back from a really good ride with Bullraider.
I had to start a new thread, because the beast is definitely not a garage queen anymore.
The water had 8" of wind chop/lots of boat wakes, and it just stopped raining.I had to run half a tank though it to finish breaking it in. Then I opened it up,leaning over the bars to keep it hooked up in the rough water it ran 70.8 at 7450 rpm. The fuel pressure was to high at 9# and needed to be 5, so I changed the return jet from a 107.5 to a 140 but this only lowered it to 8# and it felt very fat on top, but I didn't want to tune it until the pressure is right, so we just rode and had a lot of fun running down the other skis that were out.
Jeff rode it and said the low and midrange pull is wicked.
I sure will miss the single bar blaster grate and skat pump in water like this but I'm tuning for the bug and it should be a lot smoother. The fun factor was way up today.......................

    Z......

I like the Z you are towing it with...I dated one of those back in high school. Both were very fast.

    Very nice!

What year is your raider? I have been thinking about a used ski for my son to start on. Is that a good option to get a good deal on used? Do not get me wrong, I would never get him one like yours...just stock.

Thanks, Mark, BT, and Mark. Rio it’s a 94 model and they are great boats stock, very reliable and good on gas.
