    Wedge and steering adjustment

    Hi

Yesterday we installed the wedge on my RXT.

I recall reading that the steering needed to be adjusted after the install. (unless I was drunkung and I am dreaming again)

If there is such a requirement can someone please post the how too?

If I am dreaming please feel free to tell me in as few words as possible.

    Thanks
    Scott

First day back to work and people are already bothering me. I tried to read the instructions 15 times and got interrupted so many times. I figured I read them top to bottom and didn't find anything so I posted it. While on the can I had the chance to read them and the steering cable step.

Damn people here, 2 months off and the first day they expect me to interested in work.

    thanks for the reply
    Scott

    Scott,
Here is a easy and safer way to adjust your steering other than using that little extender that Riva sends..At least i think so.I adjusted my steering like this and no problems..Good luck:

Its is very easy to do,I think its alot safer than having a little 1 inch extention holding your steering together....Especialy at these speeds...

sno: I don`t think you`ll ever break that extension ...
I had it on the GTX when I had the Riva 2* wedge in there and still fine tuned it at the helm, no probs...

doing it without the extension: just be carefull that you have enough threads on the black plastic collar and cable sheathing...PR...
