Kanoflex 4'' so loud !!
I just put in my home made 4'' anoflex and its sounds so loud. it almost sounds like something isnt right. Is this normal? It looks as if the hose moves alot when I rev it up. Im thinking im going back to the RIVA 3''
FYI, im runnnig the RIVA 4'' adapter with a 4'' Kanoflex to the front of gas tank.

Sounds like that SC moves a lot of air

It also takes up so much space in there now. looks crowded and cheap. Because of the shape of the hose there are kinks that cant be avoided, there is really no way of making it run as smooth as a regular pipe or the riva intakes. Im thinking whatever gains were achieved from being 1'' bigger are probably lost in all the ridges and kinks along the way.

you could do like lafjax and I did. Aluminum piping.
i thougth it was somewhat cumbersome to install but it does look like it was meant to be part of the ski.

I'm running 4" without any issues....how much do you have packed in there, and did you pull it out....If you put in 10ft, thats too much, when 7ft. will doo....

Its loose somewhere. This causes the hose to vibrate makingt a loud sound. Make sure its no more then 7 feet and secure.

I used 6 ft to go to my front vent. the barely moves when on the throttle.
If you wanna ditch the 4" kano, let me know, I'll buy it from you.
is it the smooth bore? 620wd I believe is the part #

why doesnt somebody make a 4" kanoflex rear intake???
similar to the r&d rear setup( thats only 2.5")
just use a 3" to 4" silicon 90 degree adapter
then some 4" kanaflex to slide a filter into a similar location as the R&D.
i think the SC pulls 2 or 3 times the volume of air in the hull per minute, so theres negligible gain in running extra hose all the way up front??
longer hose and more bends = less performance gain
shorter hose, slightly warmer air.
probably about the same in a head to head.???
