Easy to get to....the OEM I/C out hose is a short formed hose less than 2 feet ......you will need a longer hose if you do not have one

I had my J- pipe out and it was not hard to get to but if the J-pipe is in it would be a pain. The hose connects to a fitting on the front bottom side of the exhaust manifold.

I put a strainer in and bolteded it to the tow ring bolts. I cut the supply hose and attached it to the strainer and used the rest of the hose to attach the exhaust manifold to the IC out. The molded ehhaust hose can be used to connect the strainer to the IC in but I bought two feet of new hose instead. Gates greenstripe 3/4" $3.50 per foot.

You can use any rubber hose form any auto store, just bring it in and match it up to a roll...Buy a roll and make your own...thats what i did, paid $10 for a 25ft roll....

Any 3/4" heater hose form an automotive parts store will work. Gates premium line of hoses and belts is greenstripe. That is the type of hose used from the factory so that is what I used. I found it at carquest, not everyplace carries it because it is expensive but it is higher quality thicker hose.

    Any tips ?

I picked up 5' of hose today, and I removed my j pipe. I can feel where the hose goes to but I cant seem to work in there to loosen the clamp and pull the hose. Im not even that concerned with removing it as this is always the easy part. I am more concerned with having to reinstalling it. Any tips ?

I also discovered my exhaust manifold is starting to detoriate and melt

Cut it where you can reach and put in a straight plastic coupling from Lowes and another piece of hose to the the ic...that way you don't even have to take it off.
