There could be a lot of water in the intake manifold still. Is the oil milky-colored at all???

Is it water ingestion, boost leaks or both? Pressure check your I/C and use windex to clean the couplers before installing them. Are you covering the Air filter before washing the salt off your engine? Just a little bit of water causes alot of @#$%.

One other thought - my metal washers had glazed over and the s/c would slip @ 4nm of resistance. It would barely even rev up to 6k. Any strange sounds from the s/c?

If you happen to be running a blow off valve--throw it in the garbage.

    Why no BOV?

Just make sure you did not injest water first!

I agree with BDNJ. It most likely is your S/C slipping. New spring washers are probably in order.
