14/19 Solas for RXT...?
I might have asked this 20 times before but have not had a straight forward answer....
With my current mods + Intake grate, Vortech s/c impeller that I already have and have not installed, OPAS block offs....Will it work?

Ask shibby! Sounds like 14-19 is too much... If you can pitch it up enough?

I used a 14/19 and had it repitched to 13.5/17.5 and it ran great(I probably could have taken a mm out of it though).
A 14/19 or 14/18.5 is for a stage 2.

Oh great! I finally get an answer when I already bought the thing
So, where should I send it to re-pitch? I odnt want to have to put it on, see that it does noe work and then have to take it off again! I dont have the tools so it will cost me everytime I get it off
So I should go with a 13.5/17.5 pitch with the mods I have and will have soon?

u wont be able to run a 14/19 out of the box with those mods... but if you plan on adding more mods then don't repitch it, leave it as is, u'll grow into it quickly.
with simply exhaust, air intake, NOPAS, wedge i spun a 14/18.5 at 8100 all day long over 70 mph...
yea i realize you are in hotter weather. But right now I have that 14/18.5 in my ski with more mods, and i need more pitch. I kinda need a 14/19 out of the box to start with and see where i'm at, MIGHT give the 15/20 another whirl
i ran my ski with current mods at 72 degree air and humid and nasty out and was still hitting the rev limiter with that prop... get used to collecting props i don't know the first thing about them. it's a guessing game for me, but i'm shortly getting an education about them in the near future from someone

Sounds like you 2 are close to a swap and only have to pay shipping?

lol... sounds like it pretty much!
Geo.. since you bought it already, TRY IT! don't bend it or anything, install and see what your RPMs are. if you are interested in swapping, then maybe we will, but only after u find out your RPMs so we know if the 14/18.5 will even work.
don't pay attention to top speed for now... just check holes shot and verify there is no caviatation, and then note your RPMs at WOT

I really like that idea Shibby, but I dont know how to take the prop out or even have the prop tool. I was planning on taking it to the mechanic That's why I wanted a one quick BAM! That's the one I need type of thing. Since taking it to the mechanic every time will cost me $50+ each time.
Is it hard to take out the prop with the tool?
