    Riva ride plate/reverse bucket

For any of you guys that have installed the Riva plate does it seem that the reverse bucket may be down a little lower. I have thought about trimming some of it off. Just looks close up top and I don't want the thrust to knock it off.

Do you mean "lower" when locked in the non-reverse/drive mode ?
    Or "lower" in reverse ?

Ive noticed the reverse dosnt seem to work quite as well with the ride plate it seems I am having to get much higher RPM's than I did with the stock plate to get the ski to back up just a few feet

"lower" when locked in the non-reverse/drive mode. Riding foreward not reverse. It appears that the top of the steering nozzle is closer to the reverse bucket.

yes, thats how it is on most aftermarket ride plates. the performance plate mounts to the ski at a different angle to trim the bow out of the water, by doing so it does mess with the reverse bucket a little bit, when i did this with my 15f i had to trim the reverse bucket. DO NOT TRIM THE BUCKET!! my reverse sucks because i did it. but if i didnt the steering nozzle would hit on the sides of the bucket and i couldnt turn fully because it was hitting.
