I don't know. I wonder could you use that or stack a couple to make enough clearance for a set of jugs with exhaust valves?

Lengthens header to increase low-end torque

It does increase low end torque BUT how about this..........
    Notice the pipe???
Well why not take a pipe you already manufacture, run an adapter plate and call it a day.
You say Polaris never manufactured that pipe?? Well, that's right BUT who do they contract to make their pipes?? RRRiiiiiigggggghhhttttt.
So I'm thinking instead of developing an entirely NEW pipe, specifically for the Octane, why not take something of the shelf and make itwork.

Hmmmmmnnnnn, once again out-sourcing plays a part in what happens at Polaris.

The space plate is there because it is a Yamaha Factory B pipe. Since it has a Yamaha bolt pattern, it bolts to the plate and the plate bolts to the Polaris jugs...

BINGO!! Hand the man a cigar.
Factory Pipe was manufacturing pipes for Polaris.
Of course when Polaris needed a pipe for the Octane along came the Yami pipe idea. The molds are already made so why not fabricate an adaptor, and call it a day.

Yeah and not make any more power than a stock Polaris pipe. People thought the FP was contributing to the 100hp but it wasn't. That Polaris twin is a solod engine. Yes the FP just happened to fit with an adapter and made the same hp as their pipe from, the couch, that probably didn't fit.

Makes you wonder just how much better it could have been if they would have spent a little time with it. Look at the cost for that plate, 300 plus.

Not to be a perpetual fly in the pudding, but I thought this was common knowledge before they even released it?
