    New to Green Hulk

Just a quick hello to all the regulars. I'm in Sydney, Australia and am the proud owner of an 08 GPR. About 3 hours into break in I was on a flat stretch of river and could'nt help myself. I opened it up only to experience what I have learned from this site as 'Buck'. Nobody else could explain what had happened so it is refreshing to have guys like yourselves who have been through it and can advise others. I have already ordered an R&D grate/rideplate to hopefully avoid this again. Also what are the benefits from stepped sponsons?

Thanks again for a great site

    welcome to GH..

thats one sweet ride you got, IMO the best colour,

you may of encountered the chime walk not the buck so step the sponsons and give it a blast once you got the stock grate off..

the over stuff/buck is a lot less evident in a stock boat

Good day mate! Great looking ski The plate & grate might take care of your probs the stepped sponsons will make a little more mph less drag. Ya just slot the middle hole open .... I never heard of a stock ski with "the buck"????hmmm i dunno

He is talking about the hooking it does when you let off the gas guys.

Yea, get an aftermarket grate to fix that! Jerry should have his stainless 800 grates out soon. That what I would get!

    Sweet looking ski btw!

The first thing I did to my ski was step the sponsons. This smoothed the ride a ton
