STX-15F HP rating on what octane fuel?

I see where the 15F is rated at 160 HP but can't find anywhere if this rating is based on regular 87 octane or premium 92+ octane.
I think that the Yamaha FX HO rating of 165 HP is based on 87 octane but if someone could confirm that would great.
I know the Seadoo GTX 4 tec rating of 155 HP is based on 87 because I own one and have the manual.
I also know the Honda F-12x rating of 165 HP is based on 92 octane premium fuel.
I want to run 87 octane in the next ski I buy like I do in my GTX, so I want to be sure the HP ratings are based on 87 and not premium.

A Ski like any other fuel powered machine is rated based on a manufactures recomended octance level. I believe all stock "normally aspirated" ski's are rated for 87. The Turbo's and supercharged models require 91+. Even if you put 93 in a 15F, I doubt HP will be any different than if drinking the cheap stuff (like $3.50 a gal for 87 is cheap ). The higher octane is really an anti-ping factor and without getting into a chapter of a book is only beneficial and required usually on modified, higher HP producing engines.

i use plus or premium as well, but only because that gas may sit for a few weeks in the tank and loses a few notches on the octane rating.
