    4 inch intake

i just made my 4 inch intake ..i had to run mine up front due to the fact that i ride in surf and chopy salt water all the time...so water injeston is a definate concern ..i injested some with my riva 3 inch set up so hopefully this will solve that and work well ...i am sure some have done it similar.... but this is what i came up with ..it should still get mostly fresh air and the water should get separated and or go by the intake rather than getting in ...shouldnt be subject to water sloshing in the hull and little to no engine heat ...dont laugh to loud at my fine dryer vet hose... i will change that when i can get some kano flex??? the plastic will better resist heat transfer anyway but i want to ride tomarrow so it will work.. i have about $100 in it still needing my flex hose just going to post a series of pics

i was thinking of covering the intake in the front of the seat w flow right material and then drilling a couple of smaller holes in the flat part of the tupe as drains fo the water that may get in so it will separate before it gets near the intake ....and 1 4 u jerry

lafex thanks...4 inches starts filling things up real quick you dont have much choice in where things go ..i could have used a silicone 90 off the charger then the 45 to achieve the same shape and not had to weld anything ....for those thinking of something similar.... my local speed shop didnt have 1 on the shelf ...i have the ability ...well ...sort of...to weld aluminum (somtimes i do better with it than others i dont weld aluminum all the time ) so i made it from what they had today... i am kind of impatient when i go to build something 4 me ...i think it will work out ...sorry earlier i said i had $100 in it i forgot the 4 inch r&d adaptor from jerry ...mi rider you can buy all the fittings to do it this way at murrays speed and custom thay have a few stores down your way
