1390 efi update
I was going to run some numbers last week at the river with it but the head gasket was leaking water in the number 1 cylinder, I guess that can happen after reusing the head gasket about 6 times. This is my set up the ski is built for drag racing to get from point a to b as quick as possible and not built just for top numbers.
1200 cylinders bored to 87 MM with TJ porting, 1200 head redone for 87 MM I'm using a 1300 05 gasket opened up to 87 MM I use the 1300 gasket because it has bigger openings for cooling. Compression 165 psi. and the squish band is 39 thousands.
3 degree keyway, Have tee's on the exhaust cooling hoses. Riva D plate opened up 120 thousands, Riva free flow, VF3 reeds, And matched ports to the exhaust manifold and cylinders and gasket. Jet works mod opens up at 3500 rpm's.
I am running a 05 pump with a dynafly 14/26 at 7150 rpm's with an 85 MM nozzle, I tried a 87 MM back to back with the suction tube in it and was 4 tenths slower than the 85 MM and the rpm's were the same. I am running with the nose cone i did back to back found it to be a little faster with nose cone in, With no nose cone i had a little cavitation. I am running 2 pressure relief valves.
I am running my FF plate at .970 I'm running R&D trim tabs cut and shimmed down 120 thousands, Stock sponsons stepped and a untouched (1200) grate.
I'm running Leo's hole shot kit (well worth it) and hull trued by Leo.
I'm running br9es plugs gapped at 35 thousands and my efi settings are 9-11-11-7
Today i was doing alot of back to back testing water temp. at the channel was about 72 degree's and air temp was about 78 degree's. Leo and Javi (speed addict) were doing the runs i was doing all the wrenching Javi was going from an idle to maxed out speed 80.6 mph. 7150 rpm's in less than an 1/8 of a mile with a hole shot that was awesome and was doing it back to back, Leo was a couple tenths slower but his hole shot is unreal. We all could not believe how fast the speeds were getting there.
Now that my handling is all set up i will fill the ride plate holes and the trim tabs, And next week i am going to try Ross's 43 MM throttle bodys Hope i can break 81 mph. by next week.

Very...Very Quick ski... Jim gotta hand it to ya 80.6 in that 1/8 is damn quick.
after hole shot i looked down and 70 and not 3 secs from that..bam.. 80+.
that ski looks stock on the outside but with a beast inside of it.
Oh.... and that EFi is running as rich as i have ever seen it on any ski.

oh and jim i got more rpms out of it than 7150........i think 7170 on that 80.6 run...would have got it closer to 7200 if it was a bit less heat soaked. still....im gonna have to get my arms checked...they feel like they been pulled out of their sockets.
