08 Release For Febuary/March?? Photo's
I went to the motorcycle show to check out the new Honda and Yamaha 700 quads (another very tough call) and what do I run into??
A new 08 F-15. The talk is 240-250HP and it eats the SHO for lunch (whatever that means). Simple mods and 70 is goingto happen.
Another thing I found interesting is Honda revisiting the "Honda Only" bologna. You'll see the multi-line stores that play nice and meet the requirements selling Honda Watercraft once again.

A Couple Photo's
This is one of the nicest MFD packages I've seen since the MSX. They wouldn't let me attach the battery again to snap a picture of the instrumentation lit BUT it looks nice from what couple of seconds I saw it.
It IS comfy, even Conrad at 5"4" felt very at home.
Great job on the front seat, you can actually stand and not go BOW LEGGED.
Adjustable bars would have been nice. I hope UMI will get involved with this one.

The engine looks awesome and designed specifically for PWC, should be a great platform. I wonder what nitro likes to drink.
I still think the removable work panels are the neatest things since boobs.
Deepfootwells with good room and ergonomics.
It's a little long in the front but I think it looks better than any of the other offerings for 08. I dislike the exposed filler and wish they would have put this under the hood with a more down-ward hose.

Reverse lever action is great. The glove box has a nice latch and it looks like it might almost keep the water out.
Rear Pump View
Nice easy to get oil filter.

Gheeesh, I forgot the turbo
Front storage without the bucket.
Looks like they laid it up pretty heavy up front.
Overall I really liked the Honda, I just can't wait to throw a leg over this thing on the water.

Great Pics! That removable side panel is clever and a wrenchers dream. If it doesn't somehow effect overall structural integrity, I am surprised as to why one of these PWC makers didn't intoroduce this 15 years ago.
One thing about Honda is they have the ability to be innovative. The problem is that they are so cautious and slow at doing it. I like the Honda but doubt it will spank a SHO or RXP/T-X. 240-50 HP? That must be the salesman talking some smack. We will see, 2008 will be an interseting year!

These were no salesmen. They are not part of the watercraft division but it's what they hear. Somehow I think they might know something we dont as they are from the Torrance location.....you know the R&D division.
But, you're right, we'll have to wait and see.

I've been seeing specs that say 200 HP. The latest I saw that was PWI magazines buyers guide... I hope they're wrong 250 HP would be real nice!
