    Rotax Racing Camshaft Identification....

I have also bought a rotax racing camshaft today, it has: PV11557 scribed into it.

Can anyone tell me what this code means?
How many different rotax racing grinds are there?

Pic below for comparison to a stock camshaft...

    Regards,

    Grant

I don't know how to tell the difference, but I just saw recently on Race Tech's site that there are 2 different rotax camshafts. One is for a mapped ecu like rotax, riva, etc and the other is supposed to be used with the programable ecus like the Rotax EMS setup

Well I got this for the equivalent of $200.00 so I may as well try it.

Anyone else have any idea on how to identify this or who to contact?

Still trying to identify this camshaft, I'm in the UK so calling Mark isn't easy,

Just trying to find out if it's a stock lightened cam or a different profile all together?

Putting this and a stock one side by side they look slightly ish different, but that may be my untrained eye!

    Anyone???

It is hard to say from the pic, but the bottom one I assuming is the Rotax racing one right? It appears to have a larger lift and duration for opening the valves.
