ne problems with the groco filter?

I was just wondering if anyone has had any problems with the groco filter? When mine fills up with water it leaks at the top. Is there anything I can do to stop that? Could I add some sealer?

Your gasket is either bad or missing ... I keep a few extra ones on hand in case I lose one.

Ruh roh, it will leak like a sieve without a gasket ... there should be a black rubber O-ring type gasket in the plastic 'cup' ...

If possible, I do a wot w/ the seat off, because just a little can skeet out of there if not tight. Of course this depends on where it is mounted and if u can see it. I have seen mine leak at only high rpm if not super-tight. Has anyone tried a rounded o-ring to replace the squared edge o-ring that is supplied w/ the groco?
