i think a piece of pvc pipe heated and fit over the nut is the prescribed solution.....someone with first hand knowlege will know better. Jerry, I think has used this method.

There sure is. Go to HomeDespot / Lowes and buy a 15" piece of 1.5" PVC pipe and a cheap hose clamp(1.75" min). Heat the end of the pipe with a high power heat gun until it's plyable and press it on to the VTS nut and clamp a hose clamp over it. When it cools you have a VTS socket tool.

I also have the SeaDoo part (#295000133) but either one works.

i have a really large socket set, and on eof the m fits on there just enough to loosen the nut. you can use several socket extensions to help you get in there. its not a very tight nut. if you can get any bit of grip on it with a socket that is almost the correct size it will come loose. then you can spin it off by hand.
the socket i use is out of a Metwrench set... or find a 1 1/4 inch socket or 31/32mm
