make jerry make a claim and get your money back then fix it dont let them get away with that. Was it insured the contents?

while im sure you are less than pleased, you can't possibly be suprised such a thing could occur while your package is in the delicate hands of the people at UPS. Always get insurance

Not to burst anyones bubble but since UPS has a 3rd party that provides insurance, good luck getting anything out of them.
My experience is unless your package was lost or stolen in transit, the chances of getting any kind of reimburstment from them is close to zero.
They will simply claim "insufficient packing" as a reason for claim denial and hope you go away.
There really should be a class action lawsuit against this company as they probably make countless millions a day in selling insurance and rareley if ever paying out when these types of things occur....
