Now i am putting that black coul or what ever u call it back on and the rear i guess vent plastic peice is hitting the pipe. Should I cut it or something not in right? Has anyone else have this issue?? Let me know

Remove that vent tube. There are two push pins that hold it on at the top. Just grab it and pull on it hard it will come off

I removed that tube the other day and the heat reduction in that hull was a big difference.

is it necessary to remove it if doing the rotax racing thru hull?
with the long vent, the water ingestion goes straight to the bottom.
and without it what will happen?

I dont know. The first thing i do to my skis is remove that damn tube. Your hull will ventilate MUCH better without it.

Since I put the rear intake, I made an aluminum "splash guard" just to keep the water from falling straight on the filter.
