    Advice needed

Ok, quick question fellas....I know I could search and read all day about this, but I figured there is someone bored who has a minute to shed his light on this topic.
My PWC is a 04 RXP, with a b.o.v and nothing else. I plan to put the riva through hull, shorty waterbox, and air intake on it this winter while it's stored. I am wondering if I really should tear out all of the hoses to remove the supercharger to have the metal washers put in etc. Is it worth the work? Or are the ceramic ones safe for now? I do want to ride it hard next summer and go to the mudbug, and really don't want the blower to fall apart and possibly damage the motor.

    Thanks..

Do NOT, under ANY circumstances, ever, and I mean EVER, show up at mudbug with a ski that has ceramic washers in the SC. PERIOD! TRUCKER!

And to answer your question seriously, yes, replace the ceramic washers immediately.

If you show up to Mudbug with Ceramics, you will be hanging by your life vest from a pole in the middle of the bug...with gatorz nipping at your toes!

Get metal units, send the SC to Jerry...

    Where in Michigan you at?

I don't even know what those words mean. But I am easily sucked in by peer pressure.

whistler, def take the time to remove the SC inlet and outlet hoses, exhaust hose and slide the waterbox back. send the SC to Jerry!!! first class work!

Get in touch with Jerry, buy the parts online, send him the SC and hang out for a few days, you`ll get it back in tip top form and ready to rip!...PR...

if your a little sketchy on how things go/go back together, take some pics as a reference or ask a way here!, we`d be more than glad to help!...

That's a good one, you will keep it for free you mean? Thanks for the advice my friends. Obviously hanging from a pole at Mudbug does not sound pleasant to me, so metal washers it is

I am in Oakland County Michigan.

I downloaded the sc removal word doc from this site and it's all pretty simple work. I figure when I take it out would be a good time to install the exhaust mods I plan to do.

Very good idea, if u plan on doing any sc wheel upgrades or exhaust modifications now is the time.

Taking the sc off is very simple, just take ure time and it will go smoothly.

Send the SC to jerry and while he has it get an aftermarket sc impeller installed.
