    Jeff,

Any specific auction sites, I hit ebay every couple of days. Never find wrecked skis.

If you know someone with a dealers liscense you can try some local auctions. There are MANY online auctions such as crashedtoys.com. 99% of the online auctions, you have to be a dealer to purchase from.

except those dealer auctions are never good deals. a totally crashed RXT went for 6 grand jsut recently... those salvage auction sites are a waste

and not everyone is using wrecked 4-tecs... just look for a good one for a good deal. find a perfect shape used one for 5 or 6 grand and rip it apart and part out what you dont need.

Shibby, dont you think that may be stretching the truth just a little bit? If someone gave 6K for a boat that was heavily damaged, shame on them. But just like the saying goes, there is a sucker born every day. I have purchased a ski from a salvage dealer and it was a great deal. If you watch them and are patient the right deal may just come along.

true jeff... it can happen. i watch almsot all the salvage and auction sites all the time... very very rarely does a ski finish as a "good deal", but it's been known to happen.
