No idea on a 1200, but I ran both on my 1300. There may be a difference in a race application, but I certainly couldn't tell a difference between them.

    I find there's a $300 difference between the 2; the M16 being more expensive.

If one were to add either m16 or vf3 reeds to a GP1300R

What are the actual costs for the m16's vs the vf3's ? (including all necessary hardware: gaskets, adpterplates, spacers etc)

    Hey Spaceman..

Not too sure on the M16's but a set of VF3's with everything included is around the $525 vicinity..!!??

This is the price for new (boxed with warranty)
In reality probably the best way to go.. since it seems the asking price for used is circa $400.
Factor in the gaskets -/+ $25 plus shipping, then there's the unknown factors..(hrs use, age, etc)

Looking at your signiture.. seems you're missing bumping your compression up a little..??? (due to no efi..??? yet)

Yeah, im trying to get an EFI. (my budget can only afford a used efi atm, i have an add posted in the classifieds).

Also not to mention our greedy government charges duties of about 50% on all goods shipped. (even gifts and commercial samples).

Then I can start the "real" mods, custom exhaust and air intakes, porting, cylinderhead etc..

Its kinda hard to mod jetskis with the crazy exchange rate, us$ 1 = zaR 7 (south african rand). And no I dont earn 7x more than U guys.

Our average salary is +/- us$500 per month(tax excempt)
managers earn +/- us$1500 per month (-20% tax)
    IT consultants/doctors/lawyers us$3000 (-40% tax) per month (degree+other certification+ experience).

    Some prices:

loaf of white bread = us$1
    2 Litre bottle of coke = us$2
    1 liter of peterol/gasoline is us$1+
Average house price starts at us$ 200K
    Entry level/basic toyota (yaris) = us$ 15 K
    GP1300R + Trailer = us$20 K
    electonic goods = us$value x 2.5

    Some prices:

    loaf of white bread = us$1 ....$1:50
    2 Litre bottle of coke = us$2 ....$3.00
    1 liter of peterol/gasoline is us$1+ ....$2:10 MINIMUM per litre..!!! here:.http://www.petrolprices.com/
Average house price starts at us$ 200K ....$475k (holy fuck..!!)here:.http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/spl/h...tml/houses.stm
    Entry level/basic toyota (yaris) = us$ 15 K ....$ 17,190 +
    GP1300R + Trailer = us$20 K ....$ same (maybe MORE)
electonic goods = us$value x 2.5 ....$ depends but always at least 2x us price
Interesting:.. I've added what the same goods/items would cost in the UK..

I will say through that the salaries are a "little bit" better..!! ((NOT much better..!!) Googled em..!!)

Wouldn't like to get screwed with all these import duties through.. (YEAH RIGHT..!! like we don't get it..!!)

It is sad because we are paying high interest rates here in the U.S. for using what should be our own money but instead the wealth is transferred to other foreign private banks that have majority control of our own Fed. that just prints money without any remorse and mind you the Fed. is owned by I believe 12 major banks. The mojority of which is not of the U.S.
